Situated in a secluded location, but minutes drive to the main A40 roads, and onward access to Gloucester, Hereford, Cheltenham, Newport, Cardiff and Bristol. Our local village of Whichurch is a 2 min drive, and has a local shop, cafe, pub, retaurant, and an outstanding primary school etc. The towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye are a short drive away, for all other shopping needs, and great secondary schools. In addition, the river Wye is close, for water activities and riverside pubs, and there are many good walks in the area, with the Brecon mountains within easy reach.
The house offers 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, kitchen, 2 lounges (one down & one up), cloakroom, large conservatory, and entertaining space outside. Heating and hot water is fueled by a wood pellet Biomass boiler, and we have Solar installed too. There are 2 log burners and an open fire in the house too, with plenty of logs available from our woods. The house stays warm in winter, given the thick walls and triple glazed windows, and cool in summer. There is ample parking for multiple cars.
We are renting our home whilst we re-locate for a couple of years, and are happy to have tenants with a dog. Our preference is to leave the house furnished or part-furnished, but we will be flexible to accommodate the right tenant.
Also available to rent at additional cost, is our 1 bed converted Barn, should further space be required.
Please note that the start date for the tenancy is also flexible.
