Hi, i'm looking for mature, professional, female to rent my spare room for 7 days per week. I will consider a mature male as long as they are happy to contribute to regular housework and are clean and tidy. I'm a mature male myself. You must be working away from home at least 3 days per week.

The room is available from 01 September 2024.

I live in a lovely, modern, detached, 2-bed house on a private road / cul-de-sac; not far from Grove Park Station / Lewisham. The neighbours are very friendly, as I built the house as part of an ecological, community self-build, scheme.

You would share the whole house including living room, bathroom and large kitchen with me (live-in ‘landlord') and the cat. We are both friendly, helpful and independent - like you I hope!

There is a, covered, verandah where you can smoke if you want.

I like meditation, conversations, making things, movies, reading, nature, and all types of music.

The property is located off the main road, over-looking a Woodland Walk, with off-street parking. Garden available but is very much a work in progress!

Leisure Centre with gym, pool and library plus a supermarket at the end of the road. Also stunning ‘Beckenham Place Park' is nearby which features bars, markets, events, music, workshops, woodlands and outdoor swimming!

The room is a smart modern, smaller, single, fully furnished, including built-in wardrobe and draws. You can share the whole house though. You are next to the bathroom so would not suit someone who is extremely noise sensitive.

Bathroom and kitchen shared only with me.

Rent is £650 pcm, inclusive of all bills, including Council Tax.

All modern conveniences - including Smart TV (living room), Fast Fibre Wireless Broadband, Hot water running constantly, Washer/dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave Fridge/freezer.

Transport links - located between Grove Park and Beckenham Hill stations, allowing for easy access to Central London/London Bridge/City of London and Denmark Hill / Kings College Hospital. Less than an hour to London Bridge (door-to-door).

Buses run frequently with direct routes to Bromley and Lewisham (for DLR).
Buses: 136,284,124,181 (7 to 10 minute walk).

Mature, professional, clean, tidy, considerate and reasonably quiet, person sought. No party animals!, Ideally you will enjoy a good conversation from time to time, but can be on your own too.

No couples, pets or children will be considered.
