Both Cheshunt Train Station and Theobalds Grove are on the London Overground line, with Cheshunt Station also connecting to Greater Anglia services that run between Cambridge and London.

The town and surrounding areas boast several green spaces, including Theobalds Park Estate, Grundy Park, Churchgate Playing Fields, and Flamstead End's Recreational Fields. However, the standout attractions are Cheshunt Park & Golf Course, River Lea Country Park, and Waltham Abbey Gardens & Cornmill Meadows.

The White Water Centre, originally built for the London 2012 Olympics, is now open to the public as well as professionals and aspiring Olympians. Visitors can enjoy activities like canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, and fun challenges like inflatable assault courses.
