Two spacious double bedrooms are available to rent from 1st August 2024 in a newly renovated 4-bed Victorian terraced house in the seaside area of Waterloo in north Liverpool (15 minutes by train to Liverpool city centre costing £4.45 return). The rent is £450 per month for the standard room (size: 4.32 x 3.70m) and £500 per month for the bigger bedroom (size: 4.49 x 7.15m) which includes all bills (i.e., gas, electricity, council tax, broadband/wifi, TV license). Single occupancy per room – no couples. Deposit is a month's rent.

Each bedroom has a double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, a desk with an office chair if you need to study or work from home and there is a 2-seater couch and coffee table in the larger bedroom with extra storage. The bathroom on the 1st floor is newly renovated (shower runs off the boiler). The kitchen on the ground floor has an electronic oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and lots of storage space with cutlery and crockery for everyone to use. The front living room has a kitchen table and chairs, a wide screen TV, comfy couches, two sideboards for storage, and the broadband box. Gas central heating throughout the house. There is a small garden at the back which gets lots of sunshine and has a patio with chairs to sit out and a washing line to hang out clothes to dry. Strictly no smoking or e-cigarettes/vaping inside or on the grounds of the house.

The house is on Neville Road, just off South Road in the Waterloo area of North Liverpool. South Rd has lots of shops (e.g., Home Bargain), pubs, cafes, restaurants, a post office, a pharmacy (Boots), an atm etc. Waterloo (Merseyside) train station is a 2-minute walk away so you can get to Liverpool Central or Lime Street train stations in 15 minutes. A large Co-op supermarket and a Tesco Express (open until 11pm) are both a 5-minute walk away. A community run cinema called the Plaza and Crosby Library (with free computers, Wi-Fi, printing, books, study spaces) are around the corner. Victoria Park is a 5-minute walk and Crosby beach is a 10-minute walk away. Crosby Leisure Centre which has a 25-metre swimming pool and a gym with exercises classes is a 15-minute walk or short cycle away. If you have a car, parking is residential by permit only on our street and on a first come first served basis but there is free parking on some of the other side streets a short walk away.

It is not a party house as it is a quiet residential area with families and retired people. The rooms would suit female working professionals or postgraduate students (ideally 30 years and older) as the house is quiet during the day and has a chilled, relaxed vibe in the evenings and weekends. Everyone that lives here (all female professionals in our 30s/40s) is respectful, kind, and we keep the house and shared spaces clean and tidy.

It is a female (women) only household as I have a little dog who is very nervous around men, but she is super sweet and friendly once she gets to know you and loves belly rubs and cuddles! She is a 3-year-old female collie cross who is gentle and friendly. She stays with me in the back living room during the day and evening as I work from home, so she does not bother anyone in the house. She is vaccinated, wormed, spayed and toilet trained and only barks if someone comes to the front door. Otherwise, she is very quiet and well behaved.
