The flat

The flat is on the second and top floor with great views of the river, and a south-facing kitchen and living space which gets plenty of natural light during the day. The flat comes fully furnished with a shared living room, tv, dining table, double sofa and beanbag, a shared kitchen with amenities (electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge and freezer, storage space, cutlery, plates, kettle, toaster, pots and pans etc) and a shared bathroom with a fitted electric shower, extractor fan, sink, toilet and lots of space for toiletries etc. There is also a shared cupboard for additional storage space in the hallway and you'll have access to a shared garden accessible by all residents via the ground floor.

The bedroom

The building and location

A very friendly block of flats, and have good relationships with the neighbours. It's got a great community feel with lots of young professionals living in the block who sometimes come together for Roast Dinners, pub or cafe trips, quizes and play tennis together. The flat is based on the Water of Leith just two minutes walk away from The Shore with plenty of cafes, bakeries, pubs and restaurants at your disposal. It's also 2 mins away from Aldi, very well connected to the Edinburgh city centre with multiple buses running frequently from the nearest bus stop 1 minute walk away, 7 minute walk away from the tram which goes direct to Edinburgh airport, and 10 minutes walk from Leith Links park. Situated on the river it's a very relaxed and quiet location with lots of natural light and close to nature. A monthly stairwell cleaner is also arranged to ensure common stairwells are kept clean and tidy.

Who you'll be living with

The other tenant you'll be living with is Female, 30 and a working professional. She is a clean, friendly and a quiet person who loves film and cinema, art, fashion, culture, books and relaxing. Ideal night in is cooking and watching a TV series. Ideal weekend is brunching, going for walks and doing something cultural. She appreciates the personal space of those living with her and is open to sharing or cooking meals together if that's of interest to the other tenant but also easy if not. She currently works from home Thursday-Friday in the living room but is open to discuss and figure out specific wfh set ups that work with the new tenant for the next year.
