Property description

A substantial, three bedroom Victorian terrace, with brick frontage with ornate original mouldings is a fitting facade, and it's all located just moments from Bell Corner and Lloyd Park.

One of our borough's proudest landmarks, the landscaped gardens and open green spaces of Lloyd Park are home to cafes and courts, an outdoor gym and skatepark, plus a huge range of sports clubs and classes make use of the acres of space. There's also a thriving farmers market every Saturday.

If you lived here...

You'll be relaxing in not one but two reception room, totalling over 300 square feet and outfitted in an expert blend of vintage and contemporary styles, with sleek blonde wood effect flooring underfoot. This is matched by the cream coloured walls and it all makes for a marvellously elegant spaces for entertaining.

To the rear your kitchen's laid open to the lean-to conservatory, increasing the sense of space still further, with the theme continued by a smart suite of wood effect cabinets, home to all appliances. Upstairs the bathroom's a slate floored with white tiles. Your rear garden's a capacious courtyard, low maintenance, secluded and home to a handy shed. Finally, upstairs two bedrooms are substantial doubles and the last is a small single, perfect for working from home.

Outside and you're just two minutes' walk from Bell Corner, a handy convergence of arterial roads and bus routes, home to a range of cafes, supermarkets and one of Walthamstow's best-loved gastropubs, The Bell, serving up delicious food in family friendly surroundings. You're at the top of our main thoroughfare of Hoe Street here, where a quick stroll will reward you with plenty of other wining and dining options, from SoDo Pizza Cafe to Ye Olde Rose & Crown Theatre Pub.

A word from the expert...

“ I have worked in Walthamstow for over 7 years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub.

There are four trains stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname ‘awesomestow’ ”.
