Our annexe is available for a part-cash, part in-kind arrangement for a female tenant.
We will provide the studio apartment (inclusive of utility bills and council tax) in return for a sub-market rent, but also 10 hours of home help each week.
We have 2 gorgeous boys, aged 4 and 2 and need help with keeping the house in order but also some help with the children at times.
In terms of childcare, a typical week may look as follows:
Tuesday: 5.45-7.15pm
Wednesday: 8.30-9.30am, 5-6pm
Saturday: 8.30-10.30am
With an additional evening if we are out or working late. Some flexibility is preferred as no two weeks look exactly the same.
Ability to drive would be ideal.
For the remainder of the time, and with scope for flexibility depending on your schedule, any help in the house is gratefully received, not least with laundry which tends to build quickly and general tidying up. The kitchen is often a focus area. We have cleaners every 2 weeks for 4 hours to do hoovering, bathrooms etc so the help is more about loading dishwasher, cleaning surfaces etc.
In good weather, there is also an opportunity to help in our beautiful garden, or with odd jobs, if there is spare capacity (which may accumulate for example when we are away for the weekend or week).
