Property description

A smartly developed and excellently presented two bedroom Victorian terrace. Behind that handsome brick frontage you have bright suite of rooms, thoughtfully laid out over two storeys and including a stunning bathroom, generous through lounge and contemporary fitted kitchen.

You're enviably located here, in a peaceful leafy sweet spot between the bustle of Blackhorse Lane and the open green spaces and landscaped gardens of Lloyd Park.

If you lived here...

You'll be enjoying classic Victorian proportions put to ingenious use, your semi open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen is spacious in size and flows from throughout the entire property. Engineered parquet flooring lie underfoot throughout and it all makes for a flexible, sociable space ideal for zoned family time and entertaining alike. Your dining area opens directly onto your kitchen, nice and bright shaker style kitchen cabinets and complementary large format floor tiles.

The bright kitchen space leads out onto the large 40ft private garden; a perfect mix of patio, decking and lush lawn, all secluded with high timber fencing. Upstairs your first two double bedrooms are bright and characterful with the master bedroom featuring on trend panelling. Finally, your family bathroom is the crown jewel of the property, with a mix of terrazzo and stunning herringbone tiles

Outside and Blackhorse Lane is just a five minute stroll. Recently making a name for itself as 'Walthamstow's Beer Mile' here you'll find an impressive choice of craft breweries, from the famous Truman Brewery's Social Club to local favorite Lockwood Taprooms. Blackhorse Road tube is just a little further, and will get you directly to Kings Cross in fifteen minutes – plus you're practically at the top of the line here so you'll always get a seat. Heading to the City? Walthamstow Central is just one stop up from Blackhorse Road and will get you to Liverpool Street in twenty minutes.

What else?

- You're spoilt for choice when it comes to getting back to nature. Walthamstow Wetland's wild blue and green 500 acres start just over half a mile from your front door. While ten minutes in the other direction you have the manicured gardens of Lloyd Park.
- Parents will be pleased to discover twenty one local schools rated 'Good' or better by Ofsted, all less than a mile from your new home. Hillyfield Primary Academy is literally around the corner, while the 'Outstanding' Greenleaf Primary is just a half mile on foot.
- Walthamstow High Street is around fifteen minutes' walk for a vast array of day-to-day essentials courtesy of the Walthamstow Mall and Europe's longest street market.

A word from the expert...

“I have worked in Walthamstow for over seven years, and I still enjoy the buzz in the area. From the scene in Walthamstow Central which offers Collab, Gokyuzu and the Empire cinema. Take a short stroll to the famous William Morris gallery which is located on the popular Lloyd Park surrounded by beautiful green scenery. Walthamstow Village has been a popular trend for me over the years with its bubbly night life and quirky pubs. My personal favourite is The Village Pub.

There are four train stations in Walthamstow. Walthamstow Central, Wood Street, Blackhorse Road and Walthamstow Queens Road. I have commuted to and from Central London from Walthamstow Train Station which takes less than 20 minutes so I can see why Walthamstow has the nickname awsomestow”.
