The centre of the estate was partially destroyed by a wwii bomb in 1941 and was then rebuilt in 1957.

Cannon Workshop is found just to the northwest of the Canary Wharf Estate at West India Quay and is within a short walking distance of Canary Wharf’s extensive retail and restaurant facilities.

West India Quay Dockland Light Railway (DLR) links directly to Bank, Canary Wharf, Lewisham and Stratford. The Jubilee Line Underground station at Canary Wharf gives direct links into the West End & Stratford.
