The house is set back from the road with only two or three neighbours in the hamlet so very little passing traffic. In the village of Bouresse, which is about 2 -3 km, you will find a small supermarket, an excellent baker, a restaurant, a hairdresser and a post office in the centre of the village, and a large builders merchant just outside the village. Nearest towns are Lussac les Chateaux (15km) and Gençay (15km) both of which have larger supermarkets and a good selection of bars and restaurants.

Poitiers is 30km and Limoges is 80km both of which have international airports.
