We moved into Woodward Close in December 2006. We originally moved to Winnersh from Milton Keynes and in 2014, my company moved to Thames Valley Park, literally 10 mins from our house in Winnersh, totally unexpected but saved my 60 minute commute into Sunbury every day. We chose the house, mainly for its very quiet location (safe for our cats!), its proximity to the local Winnersh train station to get into London and being less than 30 minutes to Heathrow as needed. We really had a clean canvas to work with and we have made a number of improvements over the years. Re-laid the driveway and landscaped the front garden in 2019, created a new kitchen / diner in 2020, refitted all bathrooms in 2021 and re-landscaped the entire rear garden in 2022. The immediate area has a lot to offer with Dinton pastures being a stones throw away from our house, great choice of restaurants and pubs within a 30 minute drive, not to mention the retail therapy opportunities around the Reading area! Due to a change in family circumstances we are looking to move house, unfortunate given the work we have had done to the house, but the buyer of this house will be getting a 'turn-key' property. We have enjoyed our time in this house and living in the Winnersh area but the time is right to move on now

Firstly, this is an absolutely gorgeous looking home with a huge driveway for at least 4 to 5 cars and a big double garage to boot. The owners have gone into incredible detail with the work they've done, starting with the front and rear gardens with beautiful planting, pretty lighting and nice borders and zones, included a very cool Monkey Puzzle tree sitting proudly to the front. Inside there's a huge entrance hall with a downstairs loo and storage under the stairs. There's a big front-to-back living room that opens into the garden, and a kitchen/dining room finished to an impeccable standard also facing over and opening into the back garden. There's also a utility room with side access off the kitchen. Upstairs there are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two of which are en-suite so ideal for an older child, or as a guest suite if you're often having family over to stay. A huge amount of thought has gone into this place and we're really excited to show you around as this will make an excellent family home for someone!

Part of the popular 'Winnersh Farm' development, Woodward Close is a quiet cul-de-sac nestled within, close to the train station, local parks, schools and local amenities. The larger market town of Wokingham is only a mile away and getting into Reading is easy with plenty of routes and transport options nearby. Dinton Pastures is a popular local spot, around a 20 minute walk away, with fishing lakes, play parks, woodland walks, coffee shops, and activities all year round from water sports to mini-golf. You've got the Wheelwrights Arms just round the corner from Dinton with an excellent menu and beer garden. Showcase cinema is also round the corner as well as a drive-thru Costa Coffee that's caffinated us on many an early morning start!
