We've enjoyed eating out in Camberwell and Brixton, sharing a pint in the Cambria pub, or a picnic in the park. The children have loved everything Ruskin Park has to offer, including the paddling pool, playground, football pitch and tennis courts.
Ruskin Park really is the gem of living here, it is an extension of the garden and being able to wake up and look out over it every day really connects you to nature and the seasons. The kitchen is our favourite room and as when you're in there it doesn't feel like city living at all, the view is of sky and trees - and often the friendly robin who visits the garden most days!
The transport links are fantastic, being equal distance between Loughborough Junction and Denmark Hill overground stations. Adding in the tube from Brixton means there are always plenty of options.
To find a place that makes you feel connected to community and nature, and short train, bus or tube ride from the centre of London, has helped make this a very happy family home. We are sad to be leaving, but the next chapter for us is to live nearer family out of London.
