We love this house. It's full of happy family memories.

The kitchen/diner/family room is the heart of our home. It's a well designed generous space which enabled our kids to play or do their homework safely out from under our feet, while we prepared meals. Its incredible versatility has been great for allowing us to chat about our days or chill whilst watching TV together without the 'cook' feeling like they were missing out. I know we will really miss this space and the togetherness it has enabled.

Its also a perfect space for socialising and with French doors leading to a mature garden, we have enjoyed many great summer get togethers.

We spent alot time in the garden and over the years we have nurtured it into the beautiful garden it is today. It's a great place to unwind and we particularly like the paved area at the bottom of the garden which makes a lovely sheltered seating area.

The lounge is cosy and intimate and being separate from the kitchen family space has always been a lovely added bonus to our family home.

The house is central to many amenities Woodley offers, such as shops, a new leisure centre, a picturesque lake, good primary and seniors schools, parks, and transport links all within easy walking distance.

Woodley has a real community feel and is a great place to bring up a family. Quentin Road is a safe, neighbourly area. We will really miss living there

So why are we moving?

Our kids are now grown up and independent experiencing their own life adventures.
So we are ready for another family to enjoy all this house has to offer as we embark on our own adventure and relocate to the Devon coast.

What a great house! We believe this has everything that a growing family could want or need. We absolutely love the extension the current owners have done here - the big kitchen/dining/living space is perfect for everyone to congregate in at any time of day! It's also lovely and bright with the corner opening onto the garden acting like a sun room with a glass roof and a wall of windows, and we're a big fan of the sage green shaker style kitchen as it's so stylish yet timeless. There's a good size living room to the front, as well as a downstairs loo and nice bright entrance hall. Upstairs, there's a lovely big landing with a window, all four bedrooms and the family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are big doubles, one small double and the fourth bedroom is currently set up as an office and it works perfectly as one with a lovely big window. The garden is a good size with plenty of grass and patio areas as well as being totally private from the back. The front has got a huge driveway to fit two cars comfortably and the road is lovely and quiet so extra parking won't be a problem for your moving-in party!

Quentin Road is a popular road for families, many of whom have lived in Woodley all or most of their lives and there is a real sense of community locally. It's close to local schools, the gymnastics centre and the newly refurbished Bulmershe Leisure centre with gym and swimming pool so it is sure to suit growing families looking to put down roots. The Woodley precinct is around a ten minute walk away which is perfect for a spot of shopping or grabbing a coffee and there are also a few restaurants & pubs perfect for an evening out.
