We’ve lived in this house for the last fourteen and a half years and it’s be a wonderful place to live. All of our neighbours are pleasant and helpful and we’re only a five minute walk from Chalfont Centre which has everything thing you need. Also only a five minute walk are parks, woods and countryside.

Some may ask...Ok, so why are you moving. Well we have three grandchildren and a great grandchild that live in Wales. Our youngest daughter and her four children are now moving to Wales so we’ve decided to follow them rather than be three hours away. If it wasn’t for the distance from family we would have quite happily have made this our forever home.

We have to mention the garden first and foremost - being west facing, it gets the sun all day and well into the evening so is absolutely perfect if a sunny garden is high on your tick list. The house itself has a lovely flow for families - upstairs there are four great sized bedrooms and two lovely bathrooms, one of which is en-suite to the main bedroom. There's also a lovely big landing with a window so it feels lovely and spacious. Downstairs you have the refitted kitchen to the left of the entrance that runs from the front of the house to the dining room at the back and into the garden beyond. The living room joins into the dining room via double glass doors and overlooks the garden, so there's plenty of light flooding through, with another door taking you back to the entrance hall. There's also a downstairs loo and a big utility room with access down the side of the house back to the garden or around the front. There's plenty of driveway parking to the front and Rainworth is a nice no-through road so passing traffic is pretty minimal making it lovely and safe as well.

Quite simply a great spot for young families with so much close by and a real community feel to the area! You have an abundance of great schools in Lower Earley, including the popular Radstock Primary just a short walk away from Rainworth Close. There are plenty of amenities to choose from with one direction taking you to Maiden Place shops, with a cafe, pub and Sainsbury's local, along with plenty of great takeaways then just a few minutes in the other direction you have asda and Chalfont shopping complex, Loddon Valley Leisure Centre with a gym and pool and just a couple of minute's walk away you have bus links here taking you into Reading town. You are also really well connected should you need to commute with easy access to the A329M, M4, and train links not being too far with both Earley and Winnersh. These are just some reasons Lower Earley has been so popular and we have also enjoyed living here for many years.
