We were very quickly drawn to this beautiful, quiet cul-de-sac with quality family homes shortly after originally moving to Maidenhead. The houses are well-constructed and spacious, and we have redecorated and internally improved this one to meet our family’s needs.

We carried out a kitchen renovation in early 2021, creating a light, airy and social space – perfect for both family life and entertaining. The high-end Neff appliances, Bora hob and Quooker hot tap have really benefitted mealtimes.

The location has always been perfect for us: Walking distance to the train station, shops, bars and restaurants, and to the 2 Ofsted Outstanding schools which our daughters attend. Also within an easy walk are private schools and large parks such as Oaken Grove and Boyn Grove. 2 minutes away, on the corner of the development, is a great recreational green space with a small playground – perfect for little legs!

The Raymond Road residents are a friendly bunch with real community spirit. We have a supportive WhatsApp group and socials including the annual open-air Summer cinema!

Our circumstances have now changed so we are moving on, passing on our beautiful home to a new owner to make as many happy memories here as we have.

I really love this home - as you turn the corner into the cul-de-sac it feels prestigious and made up of attractive, well-kept detached houses. The layout is really lovely with a big entrance hall to welcome you in, a living room to the front, and then a much coveted "tri-living" kitchen/dining/family room spanning the width of the house and opening into the garden with two sets of double doors. The first floor is where you'll find four great sized bedrooms, a recently refitted family bathroom, two en-suite bathrooms to the largest two rooms. The bonus room up in the loft is equally as awesome - currently set up as a playroom, it lends itself perfectly to this or could be an office, a guest bedroom, a cinema room... Whatever you need.

Area comments...

Locations don't come much better than this if you're looking to be close enough to walk or cycle to the station and town centre, whilst being far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle that comes with it. Oaken Grove Park is a 10 minute stroll away and is complete with tennis courts, ponds, and a huge amount of open space perfect for walking the dog. There's a Tesco Express a short walk away for a pint of milk and The Windsor Castle pub for a pint after work is a few doors down from Tesco! Maidenhead Town Centre has everything you need to spend a leisurely afternoon. It's just under 1 mile to get to the station with fast train links to London as well as the Lizzy Line connecting you straight to the London Underground. Road and transport links are aplenty with the M4 close by, and there are plenty of schools within easy reach as well.
