I have seen plenty of this style of house over the years, and this is one of my favourite extensions and remodels that i've come across - downstairs has a huge porch before you step into the living room. The kitchen is in the middle of the house with a dining room extension to the rear - all three rooms are open plan into one another but are also cleverly zoned off from one another to give you the best of both worlds. There's also a downstairs loo which can be hard to configure in these houses! Upstairs the family bathroom is lovely and there are two big double bedrooms and a third single which lends itself perfectly as an office. There's also a garage in a nearby block and plenty of parking locally too.

It's the perfect location to be a 20 minute walk to the station and town centre, without enduring the busyness of living any closer! Maidenhead is currently undergoing a vast regeneration project with plenty of bars, boutiques and supermarkets already in place, and thanks to the excellent transportation links into London, it's fast becoming the commuter town of choice for people of all ages. Now, part of the Elizabeth "Lizzy" underground line, it is already offering train links directly to Paddington in under 20 minutes, as well as direct access to the M4 just a couple of minutes away by car. Windsor, Marlow, Cookham, and the neighbouring villages & hamlets are all within easy reach, as well as a wealth of country side walks and the Thames Path snaking it's way throughout the local area as well.
