Property description

Overview

Why buy this house.....

If you're looking for a home where all you need to do is move in your furniture, then this is the home for you...

Flexibility is the theme throughout, As you enter through the hallway you have a kitchen on the right-hand side. The current owners upgraded the kitchen to have matt cupboards and ash grey worktops making it feel very premium. There are also LED lights at the bottom of the cupboards that set the mood for entertaining. There is enough room for a small two or four-seater table and chairs. Integrated appliances consist of a washing machine, dishwasher, freezer freezer as well as a double oven and gas cooker top.

To the end of the hallway is the living room, this is a great shape meaning you can lay out your furniture in multiple ways, keeping it looking fresh. There's also enough room to have a table and chairs if you wanted. French doors lead you to the South-East facing garden which is a good size for new build standards. The current owner has had it landscaped adding a beautiful patio area and covered awning so it feels nice and secluded, there's raised beds for all of you with green fingers and a low-maintenance lawn, this really is a lovely place to relax, and enjoy the sun. There is access to the driveway and carport from the garden. Finally, to finish off downstairs there's a handy WC and additional storage under the stair

The first floor is home to three bedrooms and a bathroom. The second and third bedrooms are both great sizes, you can easily fit a double or king-size bed in there with room for wardrobes and bedside tables. The fourth bedroom is a single, this could be used by the youngest family member, alternatively, it could be used as an all-important home office like the current owners have it. The family bathroom is half-tiled around the bath. It serves all of the bedrooms on the first floor.

Without a doubt, our favourite feature of this home is the stunning master suite which occupies the entirety of the top floor. A private, open staircase provides ample wall space. The vaulted ceilings create a light and airy feel, whilst the Velux-style window provides a welcoming freshness. Naturally, there is also an ensuite with double a shower cubicle and built-in wardrobes to complete the modern design.

Parking is provided by a carport plus a driveway with parking for two cars

More about the location.....

For a new development, Newton Leys is steeped in history. With some parts dating back as far as the Iron Age. However, it was more recently famous for brick-making from the late 19th Century, in the form of Newton Longville Brickworks. When the Brickworks closed in 1978, an old claypit was flooded to create Jubilee Lake, now more commonly known as Willow Lake, easily the jewel in Newton Leys' crown.

Newton Leys is a district that covers the southern tip of Bletchley and is split between the Borough of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury Vale. Conveniently located next to the A4146 and A5, it gives easy access to Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard and the M1. You have a choice of either Bletchley or Leighton Buzzard Train Stations which both offer services directly into London Euston.

Newton Leys Primary School opened in 2016 and accepts children from age 3 (nursery) to age 11 (Year 6). Many parents take advantage of the Grammar Schools in Aylesbury for Secondary education being only approximately 11 miles away.

In 2017 Newton Leys District Centre opened providing local conveniences such as a Costa, Chinese Takeaway, Fish and Chip Shop, Dry Cleaners, Hair Salon and a 8000 sq ft Asda. The Turing Key pub has already cemented itself as the heart of the community. It is in good company as there also numerous village pubs within a few miles such as The Three Locks at Stoke Hammond, The Crooked Billet at Newton Longville and The Betsey Wynne at Swanbourne.
