*** Vendors comments *** "We bought the property in August 2009 following Denise’s father having suffered a stroke. Finding a property with a purpose-built annexe was difficult, however, Elmfield Way was ideal for Denise’s parents, giving them independence with separate access to the main house and access to the rear garden.

We bought the house from a local builder, who extended the property to house his elderly parents and extended the main house for his family. The quality of the finishes is excellent. We have further enhanced the property by replacing the two kitchens with top-of-the-line units and a range cooker.

The property has been a comfortable family home and it remains so for our visiting three daughters and families. The semi-open-plan living areas allow our large family plenty of space, along with the number of bedrooms and four bathrooms. When cooking, the two well-equipped kitchens for holidays, birthdays, etc. Are ideal.

The garden is of great size and many family BBQs and meals have been enjoyed on the secluded and private patio area.

Laid mainly to lawn with flower beds, the whole garden is very secluded and secure. The garden has a small orchard area with cooking and eating apples, a pear tree, and soft fruit areas. This produces masses of fruit for home baking.

We enjoy gardening and there is a new greenhouse and three sheds.

We enjoy having tea in the summer house and the views of Croham Hurst are spectacular.

The area has great local shops, including an excellent butcher, pharmacy, and post office. There is a highly-rated primary school. There are great transport links as well.

We are moving to West Sussex to assist our daughter in looking after our autistic grandson. If this wasn’t necessary, we would not move, as the area is a great place to live. We have good neighbours and many friends at Croham Hurst Golf Club. We also enjoy the excellent local restaurants.".
