Owners comments...
When we bought the house in 2016 we did so for more space for our growing family but we managed to achieve so much more.

The original house had a small kitchen and separate dining room. We wanted space to entertain so we knocked them through and extended to create our dream kitchen space which became the hub of the house and a space that in turn hosted many memorable events.

We both agree that Warwick Close is the best place we’ve lived. The community here is incredible. We’ve been here 8 years which has flown by and it is a huge wrench to leave not just the house we have created but the neighbours we now call friends. If there is an event - there will be a street party :) We all went through Covid together, so many street parties for royal occasions or any other excuse. If you want somewhere safe and fun for your children to grow up - this is the place.

We tend to find the house has various spaces to suit the mood or occasion. The kitchen is always a winner in the summer when the bi fold doors are thrown open to bring the outside in or in the winter the log burner is fired up on a cold evening.

Not to mention our favourite thing and one we’ll miss the most is the beautiful walks on our doorstep to ockwells and the fields beyond. Having this seconds away from the front door is a real treat and something that we absolutely love.

Stuart's comments...

I really like what the current owners have done with this house - you have this lovely big entrance hall, and the same goes for the landing upstairs, which gives a lovely generous feeling of space as soon as you walk in. Downstairs there's a big living room to the front, a lovely shower room, an absolutely vast kitchen/dining/living room which has been done to an impeccable standard with a wine cooler, a Belfast sink and an island with stone worktops throughout, and a play room/snug off that. One of the things I really like is that the two living spaces are at opposite ends of the house from each other, so the little ones can make as much noise as possible in the play room and you can either keep an eye on them from the kitchen next door, or shut your self away in the very grown up living room with a log burner. Upstairs there's four really good size bedrooms and another gorgeous bathroom. The back garden is so so private. And it's south-west facing if you're a sun lover like me! There's also a big driveway, carport and storage out the front perfect for bikes and the like! I'm organising an open house for viewings as I know it's going to be popular, so get in touch asap to reserve your slot!

Area comments...

Cox Green has all the offerings you'd expect of a small village with a Post Office, a Co-Op, coffee shops, pubs, schools, parks... It's a hugely popular area just outside of the main hustle and bustel of the town centre. It is around a 5 minute drive from the centre of Maidenhead with all the usual high street shops, eateries you'd expect as well as a cinema. The main line station will take you into Paddington in around 20 mins, and thanks to the recent opening of the Elizabeth "Lizzy" Line you're connected to the London Underground as well! Maidenhead is surrounded by gorgeous little villages, hamlets and National Trust land and properties, so there's plenty of countryside (and country pubs!) to explore in all directions.
