The Four Sisters is an imposing, 16th Century (Grade II Listed) Suffolk long house which was extended in the 20th Century, and which has been significantly updated and maintained by our clients during their ownership since 1998; it makes for a super family home, especially during the summer months when the grounds and the swimming pool come into their own.

The house retains historic features such as exposed studwork and ceiling beams, decorative fireplaces in some of the bedrooms, beautiful period doors, an 18th Century corner cupboard in the hall, casement windows and exposed brick work. The ground floor

Manningtree mainline train station is four miles from the house where services to London Liverpool Street are frequent with journey times of around one hour.
