We bought this property at Shinfield due to its community, location and schools. It's got the vibe of a quirky village but at the same time very quick access to Reading for many great restaurants, shopping or going into London.

Its extremely kid friendly within the development, a nice little pond with ducks where kids spend most of their time and it's extremely safe. It also offers an active lifestyle with long walks into the forest which we love doing over the weekends. It's a beautiful community and has alot to offer to families or couples. I hope you will enjoy living here as much as we did.

We love a townhouse, and we love Shinfield Meadows as a location even more! The positioning of this house in particular is just lovely as it fronts onto one of the balancing ponds and lovely greenery. Through the front door and you've got a downstairs loo and utility to the left, and through the big entrance hall you'll find the kitchen diner taking up the whole of the ground floor - it's the perfect place for the whole family to hang out, with enough room for a table and seating area. Shinfield Meadows is a lovely location, very central to all your needs and wants. Literally, just a few minutes walk you will find the popular Langley Mead nature reserve, which is great for walks and you also have various play parks close by for children. Within a short walk or drive you have plenty of amenities including Dobbies Garden Centre which has a Waitrose local store, along with a great butchers and within Shinfield Village you have Co-Op a few popular pubs, a post office and the very popular Robyn's Nest cafè, which we love.There are main bus routes close by taking you into Reading or Wokingham towns and you are just a few minutes from Mereoak Park and Ride or junction 11 of the M4, making it a really well connected location. Not forgetting you now have train links with the Green Park station connecting you to Reading and Basingstoke, giving you great access into London too.
