What the owners say:We’ve loved living in Barcombe. It’s a very welcoming village and our road is a cul-de-sac and is really peaceful. There’s a great mix of people throughout the village and a genuine sense of community. It’s well-placed to easily and quickly get into Lewes, and Cooksbridge is really close where we regularly get the train to London. The local shop/post office is great for most things, and there’s a well-stocked Co-op garage five minutes drive away. The village local has recently reopened and their Sunday roasts get five star reviews. Lots going on in the village hall including cinema nights and there’s a load of clubs and societies, local allotments and tennis courts. There’s open country five minutes walk from the house and the night skies are amazing. It really does punch above its weight as villages go.
