The quaint village of Wyck Rissington lies in the heart of the North Cotswolds. This unspoilt village is home to the 800 year old St Laurence Church, where the well-regarded composer Gustav Holst was the resident organist between 1892 and 1893.
The village falls within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and features on the Oxfordshire Way walking trail, a trail just short of 70 miles that runs from Bourton-on-the-Water to Henley-on-Thames and is just a short drive from Bourton-on-the-Water, often voted as one of the prettiest villages in England and is famous for its tea rooms, shops and restaurants. The market towns of Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh are both only a short drive away with the spa town of Cheltenham within easy distance.
